Doctor Pir Henrik Ling developed Swedish massage in
the 1700’s using the following:
- Variety
of techniques designed to relax muscles
- Applies
pressure to muscles, against deeper muscle
tissue and bones
- Strokes
in the same direction return blood flow to
the heart
|

It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation,
while promoting health and well-being
- Swedish
massage increases oxygen flow in the blood
stream

- Shortens
recovery time from muscular strains
- Flushes
tissues of: Lactic acid, Uric acid, &
Metabolic waste
- Stretches
ligaments and tendons to maintaining pliability
- Stimulates
skin and nervous system
